Katie Smith is passionate about helping people from all walks of life, people just like you, to get through difficult situations and find the best possible solutions to suit their individual circumstances. Divorced with two adult children, Katie has firsthand experience with the separation and divorce process. Specialising in Family Law, she combines empathy with objectivity in all cases.
A lawyer since 1984, Katie Smith opened her own practice in Umina Beach on the NSW Central Coast in 1994. Since then she has been looking after the family law, needs of people throughout the Central Coast, Sydney and Newcastle.
With social inclusion and justice for all high on her agenda, Katie feels strongly that you deserve access to sound legal services and offers an upfront fully transparent fee structure so people know exactly where they stand.
An active member of your local community, Katie helped establish a Women’s Health Centre on the Central Coast, is a former President and life member of the Peninsula Community Centre, sponsors a number of local sporting clubs and is a member of the peninsula chamber of commerce.
